As an oil painter living and working in Muskoka,  I paint the rivers, lakes and timbered ridges that surround my everyday life.  For me,  my canvas is a way to slow down, think, and use my brush and my palette to show  the dance of the beautiful northern light and its effect on shadow and  the shifting surface of water.
